Toys and video games, key elements of play, have developed from do-it-yourself trinkets to extremely engineered items in a multi-billion-dollar trade. Students explore the connections between technology and play, particularly the advantages, drawbacks and ethical implications of toy and sport design. Case studies allow students to assume about familial, cultural, sociological, and other influences upon toy and recreation design over the past century. Through discussion, evaluation and workshops, college students transfer in course of designing their very own toy or sport, or modifying an existing one. Environmental citizenship is predicated on the rules of national citizenship, yet it goes beyond political borders to emphasize world environmental rights and responsibilities.
